Baumer’s Success At The Pack Expo Show In Chicago

Endowed with the most Recent innovations studied to ease the packaging process, the innovative machines had a great success at the Chicago’s Pack Expo show. In particular, Baumer’s visitors appreciated the 90° feeding system, which allows to handle rectangular, ovaloid, and shaped containers – even the unsteady ones –  both with film and with wraparound carton. Moreover, this space-saver appliance – it does not need any divider to channel the products – is endowed with a rotating pushing device leads the containers without pressure thus allowing to work without stops and it grants the absorption of two or more production lines.

Also appreciated was the revolutionary operator panel with its easy and intuitive graphic interface that facilitates the format changeover, the preventive diagnostics, and the productivity analysis. The guests of the Baumer stand also shown a great interest in other essential appliances such as the mechanical movements’ synchronisation through servo-motors, the rapid format changeover, the possibility to produce ¼ pallet and quincunx, and the device for the partitions’ insertion from below. Besides, the visitors particularly appreciated the patented automatic reel changeover system without film welding also suitable for high speeds and for printed films and that allows a 10-15 % saving on the film. Finally, Baumer presented its Multifunzione machines for the products’ packing in wraparound carton, tray, tray+lid, and film only with one machine only.
